You've learned the basics, now it's time to put it all together! This month we're working on crochet creations with plenty of guided help.

Crochet isn’t as hard as it looks, but getting started can feel overwhelming when TikTok crochet artists move at the speed of light and use lingo like “half double stitch” ... what even is that?

So glad you asked!

We’re running a summer-long crochet club for teens. This 8-part series for teens (ages 13-18) will teach you the basics of crochet - from chain stitches to half-doubles to crocheting in the round - and by the end of summer, you’ll have completed your very own creative crochet project!

Teen Crochet Club will meet weekly on Tuesdays in the Loft from 2-4 PM.

All materials will be provided including crochet hooks, yarn, patterns, and other necessities.

Space is limited, though, so please register with Bekah at bekah.smith@lamanlibrary.org to save your spot!
