It’s Banned Books week! Join us as each department shows how we can find freedom in the pages of a book with a wide range of hands on experiences for every library fan.

Activities will be hosted by various departments.  Programs will require adult guidance for younger audiences. Materials are provided and no registration is required. 

Children can interact with beloved characters from frequently banned and challenged books, explore movable and informative displays, and more! 

Teens in the Loft can check out our fREADom display featuring some the most challenged books of 2020-2024. Each cover has been wrapped in brown paper and re-titled with the reasons it has been challenged and banned. Let's see if you agree with their logic! (Ages 13-18 ONLY)
