Repurpose cardboard as art inspired and instructed by a local artist!
You don't always need new art supplies to create a painting. Sometimes your canvas can be an object that would typically be thrown away or placed in a recycling bin.
During Art Club, teens will learn from local artist Marcus Vasquez and use acrylic paint on cardboard to create a painting to take home. Marcus has a history of using repurposed materials in his artwork, including items like discarded wood, cardboard, metal, and even tea bags.
No experience is needed- just a desire to learn and create! All materials will be provided for this class.
Only 10 seats available- email Jenna at jjones@nlrlibrary.org to register!
