Join Laman Adults after-hours for a dance party where you control the volume and pick the DJ!
Come up to the Tech Hub on Friday June 13th for NLR Libraries' first ever 🌈Color Our World🌈 SILENT DISCO! A silent disco is a dance party where each partygoer receives a pair of headphones containing a radio receiver. These headphones can switch between three channels, each transmitting a signal from a different DJ. (And they glow a different color based on what you're listening to.) Basically, it's a party where you control the volume and pick the music you want to hear! We'll be in the Tech Hub and Studio at Laman dancing, chatting, and just having a good time as a community. The theme is Color Our World, so participants are encouraged to show up in their most colorful neon and rainbow attire! The more color, the better!
This FREE night out is for adults 19 and up. There will be no alcohol. Light refreshments and non-alcoholic drinks will be available, as well as introvert and extrovert-friendly party games. There will also be book recommendations available if you'd rather read while jamming to the music. Registration is required to make sure that we have enough refreshments and headphones for everyone.
