Get ready for the weekend's Christmas in July event by making a Pokémon-themed Summer Snow globe with the NLR Mobile Makerspace

Participants will:

• Choose a Pokémon figurine and decorate its environment.
• Explore polarity, the chemical property that keeps oil and water from mixing, and use it to design your liquid filling.
• Pick food coloring and mica powder to add color and turn your Poké-globe into an exciting sensory toy.

NLRPLS’s Mobile Makerspace brings hands-on learning directly to classrooms and communities in North Little Rock and beyond.

Our curriculum explores Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math using a project-based interdisciplinary model and state-of-art-tools to provide an educational and life-enriching experience.

As part of the North Little Rock Public Library System, Mobile Makerspace visits are FREE for all NLR locations!

We inspire youth and adults to learn more about 21st Century technologies, enabling them to become makers, scientists, artists, and entrepreneurs.  With MMS, we can help spark their desire to become life-long learners!
