Dia de Los Muertos is a Latinx holiday that honors the deceased and their return to the living. Join us in honoring lost loved ones with art, tradition, and shared remembrance.
Bring your family and friends to the Innovation Hub for a fun and meaningful Día de Los Muertos celebration filled with art, music, learning, and community!
We’ll have creative activities for all ages, including:
Gelli printing
Screen printing (bring your own clothing or fabric!)
Button making
Piñatas – yes, there will be two!
In addition to hands-on fun, enjoy a variety of cultural experiences:
Jorge Luna, guest speaker, will share the history and significance of Día de los Muertos.
A short film by local filmmaker Luis Hernandez will be screened.
Enjoy a live performance by local singer Vania, who will be sharing a few beautiful songs.
Don’t miss the chance to view our community altar — a meaningful centerpiece created with the help of community members during free programs held in September and October. The altar features handmade decorations that honor the tradition and spirit of this special day.
Come celebrate, learn, and connect with the community!
