Curious about the birds in your backyard? Join us this month to get started on your birding journey while learning how to keep your feathered visitors safe and healthy.
We’ll learn:
- What birds you can expect this time of year and their preferred foods
- How to identify common diseases that spread at bird feeders
- How often you should clean your feeders
- Best practices for deep-cleaning feeders via in person demonstration
We will end with a short walk along the Arkansas River to see what species we can spot. We will have some binoculars available to borrow, but feel free to bring your own if you have them. Whether you’re new to birding or looking to be a more responsible host to your local wildlife, this class will give you the tools to support a healthy backyard bird community!
