Cap Off National Library Week in Style! Join NLRPLS and CALS for a FREE, family-friendly celebration full of hands-on fun and community connection.

Spend the day exploring everything your library has to offer with activities for all ages, including face painting, crafts, and interactive children’s activities. Meet two of your favorite library-on-wheels, the CALS Cruiser bookmobile and NLRPLS’s mobile library, Rover, and step inside to see library services in action.

Get creative at the NLRPLS's Mobile Makerspace with a special library joy-themed art activity, grab a bite from local food trucks, and stop by the passport services information table to learn about additional resources available to you.

This event is perfect for families, kids, and anyone curious about what the library can offer. No prior experience or skills are needed, and all activity supplies are provided.

Whether you're a lifelong library lover or just getting started, this celebration is a fun and easy way to connect, learn something new, and enjoy time together as a community.
