Come up to the Tech Hub on Friday, June 12th for Laman's second annual SILENT DISCO to kick off our summer! We'll be celebrating this summer's theme, "Unearth a Story," by dancing through decades of legendary party music.
A silent disco is a dance party where each partygoer receives a pair of headphones containing a radio receiver. These headphones can switch between three channels, each transmitting a signal from a different DJ. (And they glow a different color based on what you're listening to.) Basically, it's a party where you control the volume and choose which DJ you want to hear! With more options, you're bound to always be dancing to a song you enjoy.
This FREE night out is for adults 19 and up. Popcorn, other snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. There will also be themed book recommendations, games for introverts and extroverts, a photo station, and a vinyl swap table. Bring a record or two you've been wanting to declutter, and you might find a new favorite. Come dressed in your favorite retro party look, from Regency realness to 70's medieval revival to 90's Rave!
Registration is appreciated, but signing in at the door is an option.
