First Floor All-Day Activities - Offerings for All Ages!

Laman Con 2026

Join the fun at Laman Con! Make a fairy wand, make Pokemon-themed crafts, purchase goodies from local vendors, hop aboard Rover, explore the library with our Quest Board, and more.

There's so much to do on the first floor during Laman Con! Here's what on offer in our realms full of mystery, fantasy, and exploration.

1. Children's Department: Craft a fairy wand with felt! This all-ages activity is perfect for witches, wizards, and fairies of all kinds.
2. The Lift: Head over to the Lift to see our friends from Argenta Kids! Every hour, check out a new Pokemon-themed craft or activity.
3. Library of Things: Howdy, partner! You've entered the world of Westerns, home to our Quest Board. Your quest will lead you all over the library, looking for different doors and earning keys. Complete your quest and enter into our raffle!
4. Room 124: Have your photo taken in front of fantastic digital backgrounds - costumes welcome!
5. Rover: Come aboard Rover, our beloved boooooooooookmobile! Are you brave enough for the family-friendly scares that await you? 
6. Rotunda: Thanks to our wonderful vendors for coming to our event! Support local businesses celebrating nerdy culture, fantasy, and more.

Some of our offerings are best for certain ages!

1. Adult Collection: Detectives wanted! Solve the mystery of the murder of Albert Normalman and win a Laman Con-exclusive button. Great for investigators ages 11+.
2. Genealogy Room: Delve into the world of Speculative Fiction and brave a game of Call of Cthulhu! Best for adventurers 16+.

Welcome Laman Con! In 2026, we’re Unlocking New Worlds, exploring realms of fantasy, mystery, westerns, music, and more.
