Head upstairs to our mezzanine level and second floor for more Laman Con fun! Make a zine, listen to records, play indie games, sip a drink at the Cafe, paint on our community mural, and more.

The fun continues on our upper floors! Explore realms of music, romance, art, nonfiction, and more.

  1. The Loft: Normally open only to teens, the Loft is open to all ages for Laman Con! Craft a zine or make blackout poetry in our nonfiction-themed quiet zone.
  2. The Gallery: Celebrate great LPs from our vinyl collection and do some calming crafts. This room will be taken over for a Silent Disco at noon, so join us from 10am-12pm, dance your heart out from 12pm-1pm, then resume your crafting from 1pm-2pm.
  3. Tech Hub: The world of technology and sci-fi at your fingertips! Sit down at a computer an explore our arcade of indie games, then join out Star-Trek loving friends from the USS Blackstone for a round of cooperative play aboard the Artemis Simulator. If that isn't enough for you, pick up an RPG (role-playing game) kit and continue the fun at home!
  4. Rotunda: Be transported to a world of romance at the Spill the Tea Cafe! Sip on delicious beverages inspired by our favorite literary and movie couples. Thanks to our friends from The Green Corner Store for partnering with us for the Cafe!
  5. Makerspace: Love the Laman Con logo? Help bring it to life by painting part of our community mural!
