Are you a casserole conneseur? Do you have a stuffing that stands on its very own? Have your sweet potatoes won the hearts of tables across generations? Regardless of your credentials, you are invited to show off your best Thanksgiving side dishes at the Argenta Public Library on November 20th during the 3rd Friday Art Walk from 5:30-7.
Not a chef? No worries! This fun and friendly competition invites the community to get involved as our judges for the evening, sampling and scoring each side! Admission to participate is completely free, and sampling will begin by 6:00. A first-place winner and runner-up will be announced and awarded by the end of the night!
Registration is required for anyone who intends to compete, and dishes must be made beforehand. Serving cups, space, and signage will be provided. The name of your dish and a list of ingredients must be sent to Carol at cmccreight@nlrlibrary.org by November 9th. It is recommended to bring enough small sample-sized portions to serve at least 40 people.
Reach out to cmccreight@nlrlibrary.org with any questions!
