Welcome to our Homeschool STEAM Program at Laman Library – a learning adventure that combines Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to inspire young minds!
Our Homeschool STEAM Program is designed exclusively for homeschooling families, providing an interactive environment for children in grades K to 6 to explore, discover, and engage in hands-on STEAM activities. Led by Ms. Lauren, our program encourages active participation and collaboration, allowing children to work together, share ideas, and develop essential teamwork skills.
Whether your child is a budding scientist, an aspiring artist, a tech enthusiast, or simply curious about the wonders of the world, our Homeschool STEAM Program has something special to offer everyone.
Join us on this exciting journey of exploration and discovery! Sessions are held Tuesdays at 1:00, and no registration is required. Be a part of the next generation of innovators, inventors, and problem-solvers with our Homeschool STEAM Program at Laman Library.
Blue Whale Project (Sept. 5) - Dive into the enormous world of Blue Whales. Discover how they feed, communicate with one another, and much more!
Shrinky Dinks (Sept. 12) - Design your own Shrinky Dink keychain. We will measure the designs before and after applying heat to see how much they shrink!
Chemical Reactions & Elephant Toothpaste (Sept. 19) - Join us to learn about chemical experiments and try hands-on experiments!
Sundae Science (Sept. 26) - We’ll concoct ice cream using dry ice (and science)! We’ll learn about the different states of matter while enjoying our frozen treat.
